Your Gate, Controlled From Anywhere

A gate is only as convenient as the way you open it. Remotes get lost, shared codes spread, and visitors end up stuck at the entrance while you're across town. Smart access control fixes that. It puts your gate on your phone, lets you see and talk to visitors, and gives you a record of who came and went.

Elantra Gate Systems is an authorized dealer for leading access control brands, including ButterflyMX and CellGate. We design, install and support systems for single homes up to large communities and commercial sites, and in most cases we can add them to the gate you already have.

Access Control Options We Install

Smartphone & App Control

Open and close the gate, check its status and get alerts from an app on your phone.

Cellular Gate Access

Systems like CellGate that work without internet at the gate, ideal for long driveways and rural sites.

Video Intercoms

See and talk to visitors from your phone, then let them in with a tap. ButterflyMX and more.

Keypads & Guest Codes

Individual codes for family, staff and guests, including temporary codes that expire automatically.

Fobs, Cards & RFID Tags

Proximity cards and fobs, plus long-range windshield tags that open the gate as you drive up.

Cloud Management

Add or remove users, set schedules and review entry logs from any computer or phone.

Smart Access Control FAQs

Can I add smart access control to my existing gate?

Usually, yes. Most automatic gate operators can be connected to a smartphone controller, video intercom or cellular access system without replacing the gate. If your operator is very old or failing, we'll let you know whether upgrading it first makes more sense.

Do I need internet at the gate?

Not necessarily. Internet-connected intercoms work well where wired internet or strong Wi-Fi reaches the gate. Cellular systems like CellGate work without internet, which makes them ideal for long driveways, rural properties and entrances far from a building.

What happens if my phone dies or the power goes out?

We always set up more than one way in, such as a keypad code or remote alongside the app. Gate operators include battery backup for power outages and a manual release, so you're never locked in or out.

Are there monthly fees for smart gate access?

Some systems have them. Many cloud-based and cellular access platforms require a monthly or annual service plan for the app, cellular connection and cloud features. Basic keypads and remotes do not. We explain any ongoing costs up front so you can choose the right option.

Which access control system is best?

It depends on who uses the gate and how. A single home might only need app control and a keypad, a rental property benefits from expiring guest codes, and an HOA or business may need video intercoms, RFID tags and cloud management. We'll recommend the right fit after learning how your property works. For HOA boards, our HOA access control guide compares the options in detail.
