Can your gate access system connect to our storage management software?
In most cases, yes. Many self-storage access control systems integrate with popular facility management software, so tenant gate codes are created, changed and turned off automatically as tenants rent, move out or fall behind on payments. We'll confirm compatibility with your software before installation.
Can delinquent tenants be locked out automatically?
Yes. When the access system is integrated with your management software, a tenant's gate code can be suspended automatically when their account becomes delinquent and restored as soon as they pay, with no manual code changes by your staff.
Can we set different access hours for different tenants?
Yes. Access control systems can set facility-wide gate hours and individual schedules, such as 24-hour access for business tenants or premium units, while standard tenants follow regular gate hours. Every entry and exit is logged by code.
Can you upgrade our existing facility without shutting down?
Usually, yes. We plan upgrades in stages and schedule work to keep at least one way in and out open, so tenants can still reach their units. We'll walk through the plan and timing with you before work begins.
