No maintenance is required for probes and loops.

Photo beams just require periodic cleaning and or adjustments.

Keypad Maintenance

These units usually require little or no maintenance, but if you rely on a battery powered system remember that the battery needs to be replaced or you will loose all of your information. You will probably need to change the battery once a year. When changing the battery there is usually only a minute or so of spare time to replace it, so you will need to work fast.

Operator Maintenance

Operator maintenance is going to depend on several things: quality of equipment, proper installation, and frequency of use. We always suggest buying quality parts, but we service all kinds and have seen quality products that were installed wrong. Make sure you get a professional installer to set this up. The warranties and guarantees from the manufacturer will give you peace of mind. Commercial use is obviously going to incur additional costs for maintenance due to frequency of use, so have your gate serviced at least once a year!
Because moving parts can break, the cost of maintenance could be expensive in the long run. We suggest considering the possibility of saving money by spending more up front to purchase quality products.

Control Center Maintenance

Because, typically there are no moving parts in a control box or control panel, keeping moisture and bugs out are the most important.
